General Policies

Cultivating gourmet mushrooms is a hobby that requires quite a bit of research, patience, and self-resilience. Instructions for cultivation are not generally included with this product. If you have any questions, I am happy to point you in the direction of helpful resources.

Please do not ask about any illegal or psychedelic species or strains of said species.
We only offer culinary and functional species, and will not respond to requests or questions about anything illegal.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Order Processing:
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days of receipt, Monday through Friday. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times:
We offer standard shipping via trusted carriers to ensure your mushroom liquid cultures arrive safely and promptly. Delivery times may vary based on your location:

  • Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days (available at checkout)
  • Standard Shipping: Typically 3–7 business days

Handling and Packaging:
Each order is carefully packaged to maintain product integrity during transit. Liquid culture syringes and other fragile items are shipped in protective packaging with temperature considerations to ensure viability.

Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination.

International Shipping:
Currently, we ship within the United States only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Tracking Your Order:
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor delivery.

Important Notes:

  • While we strive for timely delivery, transit times may be affected by carrier delays beyond our control.
  • Please ensure the shipping address is complete and accurate. SoFlo Fungi is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses.

Domestic Return Policy

We do not offer refunds for any orders. We do, however, offer replacements for any liquid cultures that are contaminated or damaged. For products damaged in shipping, please send a photograph of the damage to sam@soflofungi.com with a description of what needs to be replaced within 1-week of delivery, and we will ship a replacement free of any additional cost. For issues with contamination, please reach out to me via email so that we can troubleshoot or send a free replacement at our discretion within 1-year of your purchase.

If your package is lost and does not arrive or returns to us with intact contents due to issues with the postal service or given address, we will not issue a refund. However, if we deem that USPS is not going to deliver the package, we can send a replacement at no cost to the customer. When you place an order within the US, it is assumed that you have read and accepted our domestic shipping policy.

International Shipping/Return Policy

We are happy to ship outside the US but do not offer refunds or free replacements for these orders. If your package is lost and does not arrive, or if your package is refused by customs and returns to me with intact contents, we will not issue a refund, however, we can send a replacement in exchange for payment of the additional shipping cost for the replaced item. We are not responsible for any custom charges, duty fees or taxes your country may charge you. When you place an order that needs to be shipped outside of the US, it is assumed that you have read and accepted our international shipping policy.
